    After a continuous spell of service amounting to nearly 35 years Andy Giordano has laid down his tools for the last time at the Greenhous Vauxhall service department in Trench Lock, Telford. Or so we thought! Andy has said he will make himself available to cover for absent colleagues on a casual basis so his invaluable experience will not be lost to the dealership just yet.

    A group of 11 women are setting out on the 5th August to complete an 8 day, 450 mile cycle challenge to set up a platform for talking about the devastating impact the illnesses Dementia and Alzheimers can have on individuals and their families. Greenhous Vauxhall in Shrewsbury have loaned a Vauxhall Vivaro van and Mokka to the team to help support their mammoth ride. Andy Evans, Sales Manager, expressed his support for the ride: “Like many people these diseases have affected my family and I am 100% behind these ladies in what will be a monumental challenge, but they have trained hard and will enjoy the experience I am sure.”

    Barry Furber had an exciting and eventually successful 2017 TT experience despite poor weather leading to a restriction on practice time. Barry was the top Suzuki rider outclassing all of the others in the 650cc class. The Team Greenhous rider had his first outings on his new 1000cc Kawasaki ZX10R and Barry made huge progress over the two week period.

    The Rural Charity is a new offshoot of the Shropshire and West Midlands Agricultural Society and it has shops on Whitchurch Road in Shrewsbury, High Street in Wem and Albion Hill in Oswestry. To keep them stocked with goods and to facilitate the free collection of unwanted furniture and other items from their communities, the Rural Charity has just purchased a Vauxhall Movano box van, fitted with a tail lift from Greenhous Vauxhall. This will enable collections to be made across Shropshire on a daily basis.

    Greenhous Vauxhall Master Technician Barry ‘Baz’ Furber is raring to go in the prestigious Vauxhall International North West 200 race meeting this week. From Tuesday 9th May to Thursday 11th there is practice with racing on Thursday and Saturday 13th May. With 100 riders travelling at speeds of up to 209 mph entertaining an estimated 100,000 spectators over the period of the festival, it is certainly going to be an exciting time for Barry.

    Greenhous Vauxhall in Trench Lock, Telford said goodbye today to service advisor, Clive Durose. Clive has retired after 14 years of service to the dealership. He was presented with some gifts by aftersales manager, Geoff Lowe in front of his assembled colleagues. We wish him health and happiness for the future.
