Greenhous Cars and Commercials plans to enhance its already outstanding motability service by introducing appointments for home visits for those customers who cannot access their showroom. The business has already been singled out for its exceptional customer service within the motability sector, and the team is keen to ensure motability stays a priority throughout 2013.

Earlier this year, Rob Taylor, based at Greenhous’ Telford dealership in Trench Lock, was presented with a certificate as part of the annual Motability Supplier Awards, which honour those setting themselves apart from the competition when it comes to providing outstanding customer support. Rob and his colleague Mike Swift were appointed across both the Telford and Shrewsbury sites in 2011 as dedicated motability specialists as part of the business’s commitment to ensuring those customers entitled to support received the very best advice on eligibility and suitable vehicles.

Dave Sullivan, director for Greenhous, said: “Many dealerships see the motability aspect of car sales as something of a chore but it is a key source of business to us, and as such, we make it a high priority. We take great pride in ensuring we maintain adequate suitable parking, refreshments and in the service that we offer. Rob and Mike have worked extremely hard over the past 18 months to carefully explain motability support to those customers that are eligible, to guide them through the benefits and registration process, and help them identify the right vehicle for their needs.

“The team goes out of its way to make the experience as warm and enjoyable as possible for those visiting the showrooms, but moving forward, we plan to make the process even more accessible to those who think they may be eligible.

“In addition to taking customers through the criteria involved in awarding motability status and helping them achieve it, we’ll also be operating a home visit scheme for those customers unable to get to us, to take them through the whole process and get them onto the road,” he said.
