Mike gets on his bike for charity again.

Last year Mike Morley, customer service advisor at Greenhous Vauxhall, completed a mammoth cycle ride from Birmingham to Kew in London down the Grand Union Canal tow path, with his partner, Carol, in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Now Mike is about to take on his latest challenge – the Prudential Ride London, a 100 miles ride out from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, East London, out to Leith Hill and Box Hill in Surrey and returning to the finish point on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.  No Carol this time, but Mike will be part of over 30,000 participants in this giant ride.  It will take place on Sunday, 30th July.

Born in White City in West London, Mike has been an avid Queens Park Rangers fan since the age of 9. He is a season ticket holder and he rarely misses a game.  This time Mike is riding and raising funds for the ‘QPR in The Community’ charity which works in the local area to the ground, particularly in helping with social inclusion, education and health education through exercise.

Recently the QPR in The Community team have been supporting the survivors of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire which is only a mile away from the ground.  Mike is proud to be wearing his team colours on the cycle ride, provided by the Community Trust.  He is delighted to have raised £700 already.  Good luck, Mike.
