My job is to assist and facilitate customers who are eligible for the Motability Scheme and find them the right car to meet their individual needs. This includes helping them in choosing adaptations when required. What is the Motability Scheme?
The Motability Scheme enables people to lease a new car by using their government-funded mobility allowances. This gives them the freedom to get to work or college, meet up with friends, enjoy a day trip out with their families, attend a medical appointment – in short, to enjoy the freedom and independence that so many of us take for granted.
In fact, since the Scheme was set up in 1978, Motability has helped over 3 million people get mobile with a new vehicle.
How does the process work?
1. CHOOSE YOUR VEHICLE >
At Greenhous Vauxhall we have a wide range of models for you to choose from including Viva, Adam, Corsa, Mokka X, Meriva, Astra, GTC, Zafira Tourer, Insignia and Vivaro.
When choosing a new vehicle, there is a lot to consider, including advanced payment cost’s (some vehicles are available from £Nil), suitability and fuel consumption.
2. CONTACT GREENHOUS >
Once you've worked out what's important to you in a vehicle, the next step is to visit us. You can discuss your preferred options with a fully trained Motability specialist and arrange a test drive. We can also discuss whether optional extras or adaptations might help make driving easier or more comfortable.
3. ORDER YOUR VEHICLE >
Once you have decided which vehicle is right for you, your Motability specialist will complete your order with you using our simple online system. Motability will then send you an acceptance letter containing your Personal Identification Number (keep this safe as you need it to collect your vehicle).
Before making your final decision it is worth asking the dealer the expected delivery time for your new car as this can vary from model to model. It could take as little as a few weeks, but please stay in touch with your dealer in case there are delays. For some models the delivery time can extend to a few months so it is always worth checking if your need for the new car is sooner. Generally although it might restrict your options there is usually a suitable vehicle that we can find for you within just a few weeks.
