MOT TESTER AND USED CAR TECHNICIAN

Greenhous Vauxhall Telford

 

Reporting to: Aftersales Manager

A great opportunity has arisen to join our Service Team at Greenhous Vauxhall Telford as a MOT Tester and Used Car Technician. 

We have built a reputation on providing courteous and honest service, which together with your efficiency, skill, attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. You will also need to be fully skilled, with some main dealer experience an advantage. An MOT testing qualification would be required.

Key Responsibilites:

Accurately and skilfully undertaking the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles.

Communicating with Parts department to obtain parts needed, inform Workshop Controller if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary.

Working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repair of customer vehicles.

Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.

Ensuring opportunities are identified to improve the business/profitability.

Full knowledge of our products and customer needs.

Support and help colleagues where required to deliver team priorities.

Undertake the necessary training and skills development.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Vauxhall experience is preferred but not essential as brand training will be given.

MOT experience would be required.

Customer orientated.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays, 8.30am to 12.30pm. Please note that this role requires flexibility to work additional hours to meet the demands of the business

APPRENTICE HELPDESK ADMINISTRATOR

Greenhous Village, High Ercall

 

Reporting to: Systems Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the IT team at High Ercall, working on the Helpdesk whilst also completing an apprenticeship qualification.

This is a 15 month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of a permanent appointment at the end.

Key Responsibilites:

You will be dealing directly with employees who have technical issues such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues and logging all requests onto the Greenhous helpdesk system. Tasks may include:

Answer Helpdesk Phone and log all IT requests

Triage jobs in the helpdesk systems making sure they are logged correctly

Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically

Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions

Monitor the Greenhous Eagle-I system and log any problems detected

Produce monthly reports from the Helpdesk system including:

Number of jobs completed a month

Number of jobs completed in under 24hours

Number of jobs completed per engineer

Number of jobs logged per site

Outstanding Jobs / Jobs on hold

Systems Availability

Admin Duties

Monitor IT Stock and recharge items accordingly

Keep Inventory Up to Date

- Licensing Inventory

- Hardware Inventory

- Software Inventory

Produce Monthly Reports on changes to stock and inventory

Liaise with Third Parties and suppliers

Key Responsibilites:

You will be tasked with selling New and Used vehicles and add-on products and services, as well as proactively prospecting for new customers. This opportunity will be at our newly extended and refurbished car showroom which can hold up to ten cars within.

FLEET SALES ADMINISTRATORS

Key Responsibilites:

Answer incoming calls & respond to emails in a timely manner

Process new vehicle orders

Create document files in excel for new vehicle orders

Scan documents & maintain housekeeping of scanned document files

Customize Data within a spread sheet using VLOOKUP’s to prepare a daily Imported File

Update our bespoke Fleet system & Kerridge to ensure accurate data is maintained

Monitor the progress of vehicle orders from build to delivery via the Manufacturer & Fleet systems

Allocate registration numbers using the Nissan & Ford Manufacturer Systems

Order Vehicle Packs and Accessories

Action delivery requests & save signed vehicle handover documents into excel folders

Prepare & complete Sales Invoices

Register new vehicles via the Nissan & Ford Manufacturer Systems

Cleanse, complete & archive Scanned Files upon completion of Order

Process Purchase Invoices

Assist in all aspects of Fleet Administration within Rental & Corporate Sales

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

High levels of accuracy & attention to detail

Proactive planner with good IT & organisational skills

Ability to prioritise effectively

Works well under pressure processing high volume repetitive work involving Taxing Vehicles, Invoicing & saving relevant documents into excel files

Ford or Nissan Manufacturing Ordering Systems experience is advantageous but not essential
