Greenhous DAF Shrewsbury


An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Truck Sales Administrator to work within a busy Sales office environment at Greenhous DAF Shrewsbury. Training will cover all aspects of administration in line with the company’s standard operating procedures.

The Truck Sales Administrator will play an important team role in the day-to-day planning, organisation and smooth running of the Sales department, to ensure all financial and business objectives are met.

Carrying out general administrative tasks which may include but are not limited to:

Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls

Supporting reception

Maintenance of electronic filing system

Providing support to the Truck Sales & Logistics Supervisor

Processing invoices and posting these to the system

Responding to e-mail

Liaising with internal departments to ensure an excellent level of service is provided

Photocopying, scanning documents as required

Using Microsoft Word & Excel

General Office Duties.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm, i.e. 37.5 hours (one hour for lunch unpaid)

Greenhous PDI Centre, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent


Reporting to: Assistant PDI Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the PDI team at Greenhous Fleet Services in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an entry level position, ideally suited to someone wishing to build a career in the field of administration. Full training will be provided, including the opportunity to gain a recognised Apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilites:

Day to day administration including logistics, warranty claims, general office administration using a bespoke IT system.

Checking email for new jobs each day.

Checking chassis numbers of cars to ensure there are no recalls.

Putting book packs together.

Posting spare keys and maintaining accurate records thereof.

Answering the telephones.

Assisting with enquiries.

Providing administrative support to a busy team.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 4.30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid) i.e. 35 hours per week.

Greenhous Vauxhall Telford


Reporting to: Aftersales Manager

A great opportunity has arisen to join our Service Team at Greenhous Vauxhall Telford as a Technician and MOT Tester.

We have built a reputation on providing courteous and honest service, which together with your efficiency, skill, attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. You will also need to be fully skilled, with some main dealer experience an advantage. An MOT testing qualification would be required.

Key Responsibilites:

Accurately and skilfully undertaking the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles.

Communicating with Parts department to obtain parts needed, inform Workshop Controller if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary.

Working with other departments to facilitate the servicing and repair of customer vehicles.

Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs.

Ensuring opportunities are identified to improve the business/profitability.

Full knowledge of our products and customer needs.

Support and help colleagues where required to deliver team priorities.

Undertake the necessary training and skills development.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

Vauxhall experience is preferred but not essential as brand training will be given.

MOT experience would be required.

Customer orientated.

Previous experience in a similar role.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm and Saturdays, 8.30am to 12.30pm. Please note that this role requires flexibility to work additional hours to meet the demands of the business
