Nick racks up the long-service miles with Greenhous.

Nick Jones, from Ranley in Telford, has become the latest in a long line of employees at Greenhous to be awarded a gold watch for over 25 years of service to the automotive company.

Nick had previous experience of working with Nissan and Vauxhall models before he started at Greenhous Vauxhall in Ketley on the 1st February 1994. His first role was as a sales executive and in 2000 he was promoted to the post of Business Manager at Greenhous Vauxhall in Trench Lock, Telford. This led to the position of Sales Manager at Trench Lock from 2002 -2007.

After gaining so much experience Nick moved into the world of finance as the Greenhous Group Finance and Insurance Manager with a responsibility for compliance across all of the brands. Nick was delighted to receive his watch from Richard Potts, Greenhous franchise Director.The pair also spent some time looking through the historical records of Greenhous in which all of the 25 year of service recipients are recorded, including Richard himself.

When away from work Nick is a keen cyclist and has undertaken several long-distance rides including coast to coast from Whitehaven to South Shields and Ilfracombe to Plymouth across Devon.This September he and colleague Jon Turner will take on the Morecambe to Bridlington route.Nik is also a proud AFC Telford supporter of some 44 years.
