​The Grandland X Hybrid 4 is Vauxhall’s first ever all wheel drive, plug in electric vehicle. ​

The new Grandland X Hybrid 4 is a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) which combines both a 1.6 litre petrol engine and two electric motors with a battery that can be recharged by plugging into an electrical outlet or charging station, giving up to 35 miles range on full electric power.The battery will gain full charge in less than 2 hours making it among the quickest in the PHEV class.

The new Grandland X Hybrid 4 offers power plus economy with 300 bhp at the touch of a pedal and a combined fuel consumption equivalent of up to 204 mpg. Local short journey town trips can be on pure electric reducing the environmental impact. For longer journeys selecting the hybrid mode means the car auto-selects whether to use the petrol engine or the electric motors. The battery gains charge through the regenerative braking, increasing its range by up to 10%.

Orders are now being taken for the latest innovative vehicle from Vauxhall.
